Treina+

Game Description

Treina+ is a proof of concept game that aids Paralympic athletes with their training. Using the Kinect technology, anyone can play it with just one arm or while sitting on a wheelchair.

Two game modes are available. One that challenges the player reflexes, and another one for testing their resistance.

Project Background

I was hired for this project as a Freelancer. The project was fairly simple as it was just a proof of concept. The major bottleneck would be the Kinect integration, which I later found out to be very easy and fun to implement.

After roughly one month of development, the game was ready to go. Though it was not released on any platform, the hiring company performed various tests with local Paralympic athletes. The game received good feedback among the testers.
